











Introduction to Eco-Printing
Dirty Pot Method with Gather by Jules

Come and join Juliet for a day learning about eco-printing, creating a new life for an item of your old clothing, producing images, marks & colour on vintage wool, making eco-printed paper for your crafting use.
In this introductory course you will learn about the eco-printing process from selecting & preparing fabrics, setting up & using the ‘dirty pot’, collecting & selecting leaves for printing, placing them on the fabric, and treating the fabric/ paper to ensure lasting wonderful prints. You will learn how to print on upcycled clothing, vintage wool, silk and paper. Juliet will lead you through a step by step, methodical but fun process to produce beautiful results.
A range of other fabrics will also available (at an additional cost) silk scarves, linen tote bags & wool scarfs, subject to availability.
What to bring with you:-
Please wear old clothes and/ or an apron, bring rubber gloves if you have them, onion skins, rose & blackberry leaves would be useful. Please bring a packed lunch, hot/ cold drinks & cake will be provided.
When printing an item of your own clothing, they must be pure cotton, linen, wool or silk, Juliet will provide instructions on preparing your item of clothing once your booking has been made.
